Last month, artSEA invited artist team Jessie & Katey to Seattle to paint an 8400 square foot ground mural on the Seattle Center campus. Jessie Unterhalter and Katey Truhn are Baltimore-based artists that transform public spaces into colorful and vibrant experiences. Their Seattle floor mural stretches the entire walkway from the EMP to the Seattle Center Armory and can be viewed from the Space Needle. This project was privately funded and made possible with a partnership with the Seattle Center and a generous donation from Sherwin Williams Paint. Teens from our program joined volunteers from The World is Fun to help Jessie & Katey paint the mural.
