Volunteers make the world go ‘round. Throughout the year, we rely on the community to get creative and show their support for Urban ArtWorks. We have a variety of opportunities to engage, whether you are looking for something long-term, or just have a couple of hours to spare! If you are interested in general volunteering, complete our volunteer sign-up form, or contact us here!
If you have been looking for an opportunity to serve, Urban ArtWorks is looking for people with diverse experiences who are passionate about serving the community through nonprofit board membership in support of youth, artists, and the greater community at large through the power of art. In addition to general board members, we are interested in those with financial expertise to serve as Treasurer. We are currently accepting applications and will scheduling interviews on a rolling basis.
Help out with upcoming volunteer paint day or other community volunteer event. We’ll post upcoming paint days below as they are scheduled. Complete the general volunteering form to stay informed about upcoming paint days and more volunteer events.
Community Paint Days in Crown Hill
Join us for a day of community painting on Saturday 04/25/2026 and 5/2/26 from 10am – 4pm to help create a new, iconic piece of Seattle public art in the Crown Hill neighborhood! In partnership with the Seattle Department of Neighborhoods, supported by the Neighborhood Matching Fund, and guided by the vision of the Crown Hill Village Association and Area Neighbors, this project brings artwork to life by our Base Crew Youth Program.
If you have a specialized skill set and would like to volunteer your time and talents, please contact us here.
