Urban ArtWorks is currently seeking Teaching Artists for K-12 programming. Our Teaching Artists have a wide variety of visual and public arts experience. TAs should have experience helping young people use art as a tool for social change. We seek teachers who reflect the communities we serve, including Black, Indigenous, People of Color, and those who identify as LGBTQ+. If you have any questions or you’d like to be considered for future openings, please contact us!
We constantly update our roster of artists and designers who we contract to complete commissioned projects throughout the city. We work with artists who bring a variety of styles, and we encourage those who also have collaboration and facilitation skills to apply. Artists must be open to working with our youth artists when possible. To find out more about working with us, please contact us and tell us about yourself!
