GiveBIG Toolkit

We are excited to share our GiveBIG toolkit, including graphic elements, in an easily downloadable format to market your giving campaign.

Register by March 29th!

All nonprofits wishing to participate will need to take action on their profile by March 29. We highly encourage nonprofits to complete registration by March 29 as well, in order to be included in The Seattle Times GiveBIG Giving Guide. Registration is complete when you’ve updated your GiveBIG profile, registered for Stripe, and clicked the “Submit for Approval” button. Your profile will then be approved and published to the GiveBIG website. Remember, after you complete registration and are approved, you can continue to update details on your profile through April 12.

Trainings

Materials from the Washington Nonprofits webinar, “Getting Ready for Giving Days” are now available! Access expert Jim Shapiro’s wealth of knowledge on how to prepare communications for the big day.

We’ve added two new trainings:

• Wednesday, April 5: Making GiveBIG Bigger: Maximize Your Participation, hosted by Seattle Foundation in partnership with The Ostara Group, will focus on getting the most out of your organization’s participation in GiveBIG. Learn more and please RSVP to heartandscience@seattlefoundation.org.

• Tuesday, April 18: Get Ready for GiveBIG webinar. Alex from CiviCore, our GiveBIG technology partner, will walk you through real-time donation reporting, the GiveBIG donation form, matching funds functionality and other event day details.

Other key dates and deadlines for GiveBIG 2017

• March 29: Last day to request a profile (if you are new to GiveBIG) and last day complete registration for listing in The Seattle Times Giving Guide
• April 12: Last day to update your profile
• April 27: Early Giving scheduling of donations begins
• April 30: The Seattle Times GiveBIG Giving Guide published
• May 10: GiveBIG
