Title: Urban ArtWorks CID Mural Apprentice Program Stadium Station Pillars
The CID MAP youth from the Urban ArtWorks Studio in the International District designed and painted their own pillars near the Stadium Light Rail Station. Each MAP student created an original design for one of the concrete pillars as part of a public art project with the City of Seattle. Led by Teaching Artists Felipe Perez and Yasmine Kaner, the project allows each pillar to reflect the unique voice and cultural expression of its artist.
