Omar is one our our youth employees this season. We asked him a few questions about art and life:

Can you tell us a little about yourself? What are your hobbies?
Omar, 17 years old. I consider myself very fortunate to travel the world and visit many places. I lived in India for 5 years, I worked in farms, learned to play on many instruments and got to know explore different cultures and religions.  I love art and helping my community, this is what I have been going all my life.

How do you spend your time during the day?
No matter what I’m doing with my time, it’s always about art. Videos, photos, photoshop, ….

What new tricks have you learned for painting? What’s the coolest?
Turkish tile painting. Using graphite paper and the traditional way making holes with nails.

What’s your favorite part?
Getting to meet new people, go to different places, being surrounded by great people and teacher, and the nice environment.

What keeps you motivated?
Seeing people around me happy, taking care of me., I don’t wanna see anybody having a bad day.
