Volunteers make the world go ‘round. Throughout the year, we rely on the community to get creative and show their support for Urban ArtWorks. We have a variety of opportunities to engage, whether you are looking for something long-term, or just have a couple of hours to spare! Call for Board Members
If you have been looking for an opportunity to serve, Urban ArtWorks is looking for people with diverse experiences who are passionate about serving the community through nonprofit board membership in support of youth, artists, and the greater community at large through the power of art. In addition to general board members, we are interested in those with financial expertise to serve as Treasurer.
Please submit your application by October 26th, 2025. Interviews will be held November 3rd-14th.

October Volunteering
Volunteer at Brush & Brunch!
Join us as a volunteer for Brush & Brunch, Urban ArtWorks’ fall community celebration and fundraiser! Brush & Brunch will be held on Sunday, October 5th at Washington Hall, located at 153 14th Avenue, Seattle, WA 98122
We’re currently seeking volunteers beginning at 8:45am through 3:00pm on October 5th. Sign ups are offered as open time slots with defined roles in each time. Please make sure to indicate what time you’re planning to join us so that we can make proper arrangements. Please sign up for one role per time slot, but as many time slots as you would like!
Volunteer Opportunities Include
- Joining a community paint day, which allow volunteers, artists, and youth to work together to install new artwork or touch up existing murals around the city.
- Supporting the logistics of our annual community celebration and fundraising event
- Becoming a school-based programs volunteer
- Assist in graffiti removal
- Participating in mural prep and artist support
- Joining our Board of Directors
- Contributing your photography and video production talents
